Redeemed Unredeemable
Thomas Horn, Donna HowellIn our ministry, we deal with many such incidents and problems, so I temporarily lost my communication with this troubled soul. I later discovered that this young man I had counseled had killed several people and was sentenced to life in prison. However, I resumed my communication with David and finally convinced him that the only thing that would wash away his sin was the blood of Jesus Christ. On January 10, 2014, I received a long letter from David with the opening paragraph: “Greetings to you and everyone on staff at Southwest Radio Church. I trust you are doing well in the Lord, always being strengthened by the power of His might, and always rejoicing in our Savior Jesus Christ.”
After becoming a Christian in prison, Brother Berkowitz has won many others to Christ and conducts a ministry, even behind prison walls, that reaches multitudes for the Lord.
At Southwest Radio Church, we maintain an extensive prison ministry, reaching lost souls who otherwise would never be told that Jesus Christ died for their sins and how they can be saved and become sons of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Dr. Thomas Horn is to be commended for collaborating with author Donna Howell in the writing of this book to encourage Christians, both on a personal and church basis, to reach those in prisons with the gospel of Christ that will set them free of sin and eternal damnation, giving them the sure promise of a new life in Christ.
